NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Cendant Corp. reported that Avis' revenue for the fourth quarter of 2002 totaled $592,772,000 a 16% increase over 2001's fourth quarter revenue of $510,969,000.
The average length of rental for the fourth quarter was 3.6 days. During the same period in 2001, the average length of rental was 3.75 days. The time and mileage revenue per day for the quarter was $40.04, compared to $37.04 in the fourth quarter of 2001.
