The Travel Agents Association of New Zealand (TAANZ) honored Avis Car Rental in New Zealand as the “Best Rent A Car Operator” during its annual National Travel Industry Awards event in Auckland.
“We could not be prouder of our Avis New Zealand team, and they are well-deserving of this honor,” said Patric Siniscalchi, Avis Budget Group president of Latin America/Asia-Pacific. “This comes as a result of decades of dedicated hard work and outstanding service by a group of men and women who know what it takes to create true customer delight. To be recognized for this by travel professionals is particularly gratifying.”
The National Travel Industry Awards honors companies in 21 categories across the brand, location, individuals and brokers, says Avis.
“We remain committed to being a growth partner to travel professionals in New Zealand and helping them serve travelers with the best possible ground transportation,” said Kathryn O'Neil, managing director of Avis Budget Group New Zealand. “They excel in knowing what travelers want, and that they trust Avis to provide this for their clients is very high praise. We're humbled and deeply honored by this recognition.”
