Under its new partnership with Avis Budget Group, Caribbean-based Seaborne Airlines will provide its customers with access to vehicles from Avis Car Rental, Budget Car Rental and Payless Car Rental.
By visiting the Seaborne Airlines website, travelers will have the ability to make an Avis, Budget or Payless reservation as a stand-alone car rental booking or by adding a vehicle rental to an existing flight booking, says the company.
"This partnership is a strategic opportunity for us to accelerate growth throughout the Caribbean," said Stephen Wright, Avis Budget Group’s senior vice president of sales and marketing for Latin America/Asia-Pacific. "Seaborne Airlines has been operating in the Caribbean for more than 20 years and is well-respected throughout the region. We're happy to land this new partnership and offer Seaborne Airlines customers an extended multi-brand transportation solution."
In the Caribbean, most Avis, Budget and Payless locations are operated by independently-owned licensees.
"We are delighted to be entering into this agreement with a marquee firm like Avis Budget Group," said Gary Foss, Seaborne Airlines’ president and chief executive officer. "Together, we will be able to offer even more value to Caribbean travelers, whether they are traveling locally or connecting for business or leisure."
