Bandago, a van rental company, is planning to launch its newest location in Austin. This will be the company's ninth U.S. location.
Headquartered in San Francisco, Bandago also has operations in Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, New York, Orlando, and Portland.
Bandago offers a selection of vans with the latest technology and entertainment. The company’s clients include touring bands and musicians, celebrities, families, churches, sports teams, mobile marketing events, film/TV productions, and more, according to Bandago.
Like its new Austin facility, all Bandago locations offer customers a selection of nine- to 15-passenger vans, including the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Ford Transit, and E-Series models. In addition to seating and cargo, Bandago vehicles feature amenities, such as Wi-Fi, video game consoles, power outlets, wireless headphones, and DVD players.
“Expansion into Austin was a natural next-step for us, given our deep roots in the music industry,” said Sharky Laguana, Bandago’s founder and CEO. “Austin’s prominence as one of the nation’s truly great locations for both established and upcoming artists is well-documented. Beyond Austin’s thriving musical scene, the city offers limitless options for businesses, families, and groups looking to travel in style and comfort. It’s an ideal market for the next step in our expansion.”
