PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- Budget Rent A Car System Inc. today launched a Latin American/Caribbean promotion for U.S. travel agents enrolled in Unlimited Budget, the company's travel agent loyalty program.
Now through Nov. 30, travel agents qualify to receive cash prizes for booking their customers a Budget car in these regions. First and second place awards will go to the agents who make the most Budget reservations (based on completed rentals). The third place winner will be rewarded for generating the most revenue.
First place gets $1,000, second place gets $500, and third place gets $250.
The promotion will run in three periods (June 1 to July 31, August 1 to Sept. 30, and Oct. 1 to Nov. 30) to allow travel agents three chances to win one of the three prizes. Awards will be added to the Unlimited Budget stored value MasterCard card. This cash can then be used to make purchases anywhere MasterCard is accepted (excluding ATM withdrawals).
