Car Rental Company in Canada Considers Adjusting Policy after Snake Appears in Rental
Budget Car Rental in Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada took care of the costs of a rental car for a family after the daughter found a snake in the backseat.
According to Edmonton Journal, a Budget Car Rental location in Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada is considering revising its policies after a snake was found in one of its rental vehicles on Aug. 17 . The person who rented the vehicle prior to the family was a reptile handler, though he said he didn’t own the snake that was found.
A 7-year-old girl found the snake when the family was getting into their rented SUV. The family contacted Budget to find out where the snake came from and to replace their vehicle.
Budget exchanged the SUV and Budget's Edmonton General Manager Bruce Samuelson said the company will also take care of the rental costs.
