The Car Rental Show announces a new seminar format for 2014 in the form of roundtable discussions. Roundtable participants will rotate between 10 tables and 10 discussion topics every 20 minutes, allowing a visitation of six topics in the two-hour session.

The roundtable discussions are designed to explore a variety of topics in an interactive, one-on-one setting with a group facilitator and other colleagues. Topics will cover a range of challenges in the car rental process, and attendees will come away with real-world solutions to take home to their businesses.

Discussion topics include:

  • Customer Service in the Age of Social Media

  • Locating, Financing, Purchasing Rental Inventory

  • How to Manage Rates against Competitors with More Products

  • Best Practices for Limiting Employment Law-Related Exposure in 2014

  • Better Financing with Better Financial Statements

“The roundtable discussions are mini-seminars in 20 minutes,” says Chris Brown, executive editor of Auto Rental News. “Attendees will get the feedback they need on six topics directly from the topic experts. With the roundtables, this year’s show has the most amount of programming over a two-day period we’ve ever had.”

The roundtable discussions will take place Monday April 7 from 10 a.m. to noon. The 2014 Car Rental Show takes place April 7-8 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
