Car Rental Show Closing Keynote Announced
Tom Webb of Manheim, Ricky Beggs of Black Book and Alec Gutierrez of Kelley Blue Book will discuss the forces affecting fleet costs, residual values, auction trends and more.
Auto Rental News and the American Car Rental Association (ACRA) are pleased to announce the closing keynote address for the 2013 Car Rental Show (CRS).
Titled “The Auto Industry and Car Rental: Volume, Pricing, Trends,” the closing keynote will be presented by Tom Webb, chief economist at Manheim, Ricky Beggs, vice president and managing editor at Black Book, and Alec Gutierrez, senior market analyst of automotive insights for Kelley Blue Book.
These top analysts will discuss the moving parts of the auto industry and the forces affecting fleet costs this year and beyond. Agenda topics include a resale value analysis by vehicle segment, how risk units will fare at auction, and insights into retail and fleet sales projections, incentives, mileage trends, auction volumes and more.
“CRS is delighted to have three of the top analysts from different corners of the automotive industry,” said Chris Brown, executive editor of Auto Rental News. “Together, they’ll give the 30,000-feet view on down to the street level to help our audience buy and sell smarter in 2013. This is a can’t-miss close to our show.”
The closing keynote is scheduled for 3:55 pm on Tuesday, April 16. The 2013 Car Rental Show takes place April 15-16, 2013 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas. To see the full schedule and to register for the event, go to www.carrentalshow.com.
