PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- Cendant Car Rental Group has launched WebLinks, a new Website link that lets travel agents collect up to 10% commission whenever a rental customer uses their link to book an Avis or Budget rental.
The special WebLinks can be downloaded onto any PC from a CD-ROM provided by Cendant Car Rental Group. To qualify for commissions, though, travel agents must be a member of either the Club Red or Unlimited Budget incentive program.
Every rental reservation made through these links is automatically pre-filled with the travel agent's information. This permits the tracking of rentals to provide commissions.
"The Avis and Budget WebLinks ensure that agents get a balanced offering -- a premium brand with Avis and a great value with Budget," said Gerard Quirk, vice president of global travel industry for Cendant Car Rental Group, parent of Avis and Budget.
