Delta Air Lines is expanding SkyMiles members' mileage-earning opportunities with a new partnership with Budget Rent A Car that will offer members miles for renting with Budget.
Delta Air Lines is expanding SkyMiles members’ mileage-earning opportunities with a new partnership with Budget Rent A Car that will offer members miles for renting with Budget.
"This partnership will provide SkyMiles members with new mileage-earning opportunities throughout their global travel experience," said Jeff Robertson, managing director of the SkyMiles program. "Our members can expect outstanding benefits from Budget --from great deals on vehicles to quality service -- while earning miles on the ground. We are thrilled to have the Budget family join our growing list of worldwide partners who provide substantial value to the SkyMiles program for our customers."
SkyMiles members will earn 50 miles per day on qualifying Budget rentals. Members can also receive up to 20 percent off rentals when they mention the Delta/Budget customer discount(1) when making a reservation.
In honor of the partnership launch, Budget is also offering SkyMiles members a special mileage bonus. From April 9, 2007 through May 25, 2007, SkyMiles members will earn quadruple miles for qualifying rentals of up to five days.(2)
