Denton Partridge has been promoted to assistant vice president to head a newly configured shared services center for National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car, effective August 1, 2008.

The center is located at the former Vanguard corporate headquarters at 6929 N. Lakewood in the Cherokee Industrial Park.

Partridge earned his accounting degree and MBA from the University of Tulsa. He was employed at a major accounting firm and at Owasso-based National Steak & Poultry before joining National and Alamo in 2004 as controller of vehicle accounting. In that post, his responsibilities ultimately grew to include fleet services and all aspects of the fleet lifecycle.

In his new position, Partridge will be responsible for accounting and administrative functions in the Tulsa shared service center, including fleet accounting and services, accounts receivable and payable, and National and Alamo corporate and licensee accounting. He also will oversee all local human resources functions in the facility.

Partridge will report to Gary Cunningham, vice president of finance for National and Alamo.
