Dollar Thrifty Expands Contract with InfoLogix
Over the past year, InfoLogix has expanded its role to essentially become Dollar Thrifty's virtual field and mobile technology division.
InfoLogix, Inc., a technology provider of enterprise mobility solutions for the commercial and healthcare industries, recently announced that Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group has awarded InfoLogix with several additional mobile technology projects.
Based on the success of implementing a point of sale solution for Dollar Thrifty's rental counter at over 450 corporate store locations throughout North America, and the dedicated mobile managed services put in place to keep things running smoothly, InfoLogix was the natural choice to continue advancing Dollar Thrifty's mobile capabilities. Project planning for the expanded engagement is already underway, with results projected to be unveiled during the course of 2008.
Over the past year, InfoLogix has expanded its role to essentially become Dollar Thrifty's virtual field and mobile technology division. With six field technology employees and access to the InfoLogix customer care portal, a customized Web portal that provides real-time access to critical system information and reports, InfoLogix has proven itself to be an integral part of the day-to-day operations at Dollar Thrifty.
To date, InfoLogix has managed all help desk issues, services, support, project management, spare pool operations and the maintenance of all field technology for Dollar Thrifty. This includes all rental counter POS systems, handheld computers, wireless communications and GPS.
