E-Z Rent-A-Car launches E-Z Money Club
The new program tracks reservations for members and lowers the base rental rate automatically when prices drop.
The car rental market is always in flux, fluctuating based on basic supply and demand with an influence from a car rental company’s fleet utilization. Rates change daily, and often times, they change multiple times during the day as rental car companies react to market demands. Many savvy travelers armed with knowledge keep an eye on their itinerary in hopes of catching the best possible price. However, this constant checking and re-booking can make for a lot of work, E-Z Rent-A-Car reports.
E-Z Rent-A-Car’s new program, E-Z Money Club, places the reservations of its members into an automated tool that completes this process for them. The traveler books their car rental reservation at www.e-zrentacar.com and chooses to join the E-Z Money Club. The details of that reservation (pickup date/time, pickup location and car class) are then compared, on a daily basis, to reservations made the day previous. If a match is encountered where a lower rental rate was assigned, the reservation for the E-Z Money Club member is automatically lowered to the new rate.
E-Z Rent-A-Car charges an annual membership fee of $14.95, which includes the fare reducing automated tool and access to discounts and coupons. Membership is available for all E-Z Rent-A-Car locations in the continental United States.
