ST. LOUIS -- Enterprise Rent-A-Car today announced the promotion of Rosemary "Rose" Langhorst to vice president and treasurer.
William Snyder, the company's executive vice president and chief financial officer, made the announcement. Langhorst, who began her career with Enterprise in October 1988, has served as the company's assistant treasurer since 1994. Langhorst replaces senior vice president and treasurer, Bob Huber, who announced his retirement this week after a 24-year career.
"Rose has been a significant part of the treasury team at Enterprise during a period of rapid growth for our company," said Snyder. "Her work has been instrumental in helping us leverage our company's investment grade rating to favorably secure the capital needed to fund our growth."
Langhorst graduated from the University of Missouri - St. Louis in 1985 with a bachelor of business administration degree with an emphasis in accounting. After college, Langhorst worked as a certified public accountant for Peat Marwick (KPMG) for three years before joining Enterprise's corporate accounting staff in 1988. Three years later, she joined the treasury department, holding a series of positions of increasing responsibility, including assistant vice president and vice president.
Rose lives with her husband, Paul, and daughters, Becky and Anna, in suburban St. Louis.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car operates more than 600,000 rental and fleet services vehicles worldwide and has annual revenues of more $6.9 billion.
