Enterprise Holdings, owner and operator of National Car Rental and Enterprise Rent-A-Car brands, has reported that airport reservations are already up more than 10% for the month of January.
However, business travelers with National or Enterprise reservations don’t need to worry, says the company.
“With more than 1 million vehicles in our U.S. fleet — twice as many as any other U.S. car rental company — we have enough cars to honor the reservations of our business rental customers,” said Brad Carr, vice president for Enterprise Holdings. “We are able to strategically manage our fleet for maximum flexibility and responsiveness.”
Enterprise Holdings’ fleet has an average odometer reading of less than 16,000 miles and an age of eight months, according to the company.
“Business travelers expect low-mileage rental cars regardless of whether they rent a vehicle at an airport or a neighborhood location,” said Carr. “So our approach to fleet management helps ensure our vehicles continuously meet customer expectations, even during busy times like this.”
