Europcar UK Selects New Operations Director
Robert Shaw will oversee plans to make products and services more accessible to Europcar customers.
Europe-based car rental services company Europcar has appointed Robert Shaw as the new operations director as part of the company’s business strategy to maintain its competitive edge.
As operations director, Shaw will implement commercial initiatives that deliver the best level of service to Europcar customers, including making its service more convenient and accessible.
Shaw joined the Europcar team in 2001 as regional manager and was promoted to regional director in 2007. Prior to his work at Europcar, he held a number of key management roles at other major rental providers giving him a total of 25 years of experience in the rental car industry.
“Customer service will remain at the heart of everything we do, ensuring Europcar meets customer demand in a competitive market,” Shaw said. “I am also looking forward to harnessing the commitment and expertise of the operations team to drive us towards new levels of success.”
