DEARBORN, Mich. -- Ford has released the company's incentives for its national rental program. The incentives are available to eligible daily rental accounts with valid fleet identification numbers.

The national fleet incentive, fleet special account credit, and commercial fleet credits (20F/56S) have been combined into one amount on the invoice as "Long Term Rental Incentive" (56K) for the 2004 model year. The streamlined display on the invoice allows for easier identification of the total discount on Ford vehicles. The new display will affect vehicles invoiced in July 2003.

Orders should be submitted with option code 56K and a valid fleet identification number (FIN) to generate the right incentives. Dealers are no longer required to enter 20F on Taurus/Sable or 56S on Crown Victoria. These incentives have been combined into the long-term rental incentive (56K).

Customers are required to complete the delivery forecast form shown in Attachment III (also available on the Web site) for review by a national account manager. This required forecast will help Ford meet delivery timing requirements. (This is a delivery forecast rather than a production forecast.)

Here are the listings by vehicle model and national long-term incentive (56K):

***Ford Focus -- $1,000

***Ford Mustang -- $600
