Fox has now opened its fourth location in Florida.

Los Angeles-based Fox Rent A Car is officially open for business at four locations in the state of Florida, the company announced June 12. Over the past few months, Fox has opened locations in the state including in Orlando, Tampa, Miami and Ft. Lauderdale.

“The opening of these locations in Florida is a big step in our continued expansion,” said Joe Knight, VP of business development for Fox. “When we committed to this plan, it became a company-wide initiative and we successfully completed the opening of all four locations within a few months.”

Fox joined Orlando in January 2012, serving families and vacationers visiting this theme park city. The second Florida location opened April 2012 in Tampa, Florida. Tampa, just southwest of Orlando, caters to the vacationing adult. Miami was the third Fox location, located between the Miami River and the Florida Everglades. The fourth and final city, Ft. Lauderdale, welcomed Fox customers in June 2012.

“Entering new markets is very exciting for Fox,” Knight said. “We have gained immediate customer acceptance in these new markets, and we will continue to grow due to the value we provide the customers.”

Privately held Fox Rent A Car, founded in 1989 as a discount brand, now operates 17 corporate-owned locations servicing major airports in the United States. Fox also services international and domestic airports through affiliated car rental companies.
