The Hertz Corp. will demonstrate its HIRS for Repair Shops web portal at the 2014 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) trade show in Las Vegas this week.
Developed in conjunction with Information Builders, HIRS for Repair Shops is a web-based tool that assists shops in managing their key performance indicators and provides real-time rental reporting. It is set to launch in the first quarter of 2015, according to Hertz.
“Hertz is committed to growing its network of neighborhood locations that service the collision repair industry," said John Holt, Hertz senior vice president. "Our new HIRS web portal was developed to assist shops in managing their performance and to provide real-time Hertz rental reporting.”
Additionally, Hertz will sponsor the Society of Collision Repair Specialist's (SCRS) Repairer Driven Education (RDE) Series and the OEM Collision Repair Technology Summit at the SEMA show.
“Hertz's attendance at SEMA and our sponsorship of SCRS' RDE educational series will be instrumental in growing the Hertz business, especially in the insurance replacement market, while educating attendees on the products and services Hertz offers to provide customers with the fastest and easiest car rental experience in the industry,” said Holt.
