PARK RIDGE, N.J. -- This spring, Hertz offers visitors to Florida its Florida Drive Out program. The program, designed to reposition Hertz's seasonal fleet out of Florida, serves as an incentive to "drive out" of the state by offering one-way rates starting at $12.99 per day.
The Florida Drive Out program is available for car rental pickup at all Florida Hertz locations from March 31 through May 15, 2002. Rates for the Florida Drive Out program are $12.99 per day for compact cars such as the Ford Focus, $17.99 per day for mid-size cars such as the Mazda 626, and $19.99 per day for special sporty and full-size cars such as the Ford Mustang Coupe and Ford Taurus.
To take advantage of this offer, customers must rent an economy through full-size car at any Florida Hertz location and return it to any one of the designated Hertz corporate locations in Atlanta; Charleston, S.C.; Charlotte, N.C.; Memphis; or Savannah, Ga. Cars may also be dropped off at any Hertz corporate location in Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, New Jersey, Ohio Vermont or Wisconsin.
Customers must ask for Rate Code (RQ Code) ICTD when they book. There are no drop-off fees. Unlimited mileage is available for all rentals. A seven-day maximum rental applies. Rates require a 24-hour advance reservation and are subject to change without notice. Availability is limited and blackout dates apply. Florida Drive Out program rates cannot be combined with any other promotion, offer or discount.
