The Hertz Corp. has updated its Frankfurt Airport flagship location in Germany with new technology and a modern redesign — as part of the company’s global reinvention of the car rental experience.
The high-tech makeover at terminals 1 and 2 includes dual screen monitors at the counters and large screens that feature rotating scenes of Frankfurt and Hertz products, says Hertz. The revamp also includes a “Recharge Zone” for mobile phones and electronic devices and a “Discovery Zone,” which allows customers to learn more about Hertz's offering and gain access to the latest news via touch screens. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is available for customers.
Additionally, counters, information screens, a Hertz Dream Collection display and digital reservation signs for Hertz Gold Plus Rewards members were added to the parking area, says Hertz.
The redesign also features environmentally friendly and recyclable materials including energy-efficient lighting and equipment as well as water-saving fixtures.
“Following the overwhelmingly positive customer feedback for our revamped flagship locations in San Diego and Newark Airports in the U.S and London Marble Arch in the U.K., I am very confident that the remodeling of Hertz’s location in Frankfurt Airport will be equally celebrated,” said Michel Taride, president of Hertz International. “The location’s high-tech makeover together with a top-class customer service will remarkably enhance the traveler’s experience when renting a car with us.”
More than 400 Hertz locations have been updated around the globe, with more than 200 renewed so far in Europe, Australia and South Africa. The remodeling of the Hertz flagship location at Paris Saint Ferdinand is close to its official opening, according to Hertz.
