Beginning mid-April, Kia Motors America will exclusively offer the all-new 2015 K900 luxury sedan through National Car Rental’s “Premier Selection,” a special section of the rental lot where customers can choose from a variety of upscale vehicles.
Kia’s newest vehicle will be available to National’s rental car customers at 18 of the nation’s busiest airports, according to National.
“The opportunity to offer the Kia K900 through National’s Premier Selection provides our customers access and exposure to one of the newest and most luxurious vehicles on the market,” said Rob Connors, assistant vice president of brand marketing at National Car Rental. “Our customers have expressed an increased interest in high-end vehicles, and we are committed to working with our manufacturer partners to provide a premium selection of vehicles that meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.”
“With 2014 marking Kia’s 20th anniversary in the U.S. market, the all-new K900 is a symbol of how far the brand has come,” said Michael Sprague, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Kia Motors America. “With its European-inspired design, advanced technology and superb craftsmanship, it offers something modern and different for people who don’t want to be confined by the traditional definitions of luxury.”
A recent Polk study commissioned by Enterprise Holdings — the owner and operator of National Car Rental, Alamo Rent A Car and Enterprise Rent-A-Car brands — found that customers who rent a car from National’s airport locations are 45% more likely to purchase a new vehicle within six months of their rental than the average U.S. consumer.
This study covered 23 million renters over a 12-month period.
