National Car Rental is offering its Canadian customers access to the all-new 2015 Nissan Murano crossover. Beginning this month, this partnership will bring Nissan Muranos to National Car Rental locations across Canada.
"National focuses on providing new products and technologies that offer unsurpassed choice and control to our frequent traveler customers," said Rob Connors, National Car Rental’s assistant vice president of marketing. "By offering exclusive car rental rights to the new 2015 Nissan Murano, our customers benefit from exclusive access to a great driving experience, while our manufacturing partner benefits from exposure to an audience predisposed to a premium vehicle."
First introduced in 2002 in North America, the Nissan Murano crossover offers voice-activated navigation, a multi-touch control color screen, rear-view monitor, heated seats and steering wheel, remote engine start, Dual Zone Automatic temperature control and a power lift gate.
"National Car Rental customers are looking for the latest in technology and design, which makes the Nissan Murano a natural fit to add to its vehicle line-up," said Brent Smith, chief marketing manager crossovers for Nissan Canada Inc. "Our program with National will help build awareness of the Murano through exposing consumers to the concept car styling and social lounge interior of the all-new 2015 model."
Each vehicle will feature a QR code decal as part of the OnRamp renter engagement campaign. Scanning the QR code with a smartphone launches a mobile-optimized site where customers can learn more about the Murano or find a local Nissan dealer if they are interested in purchasing a similar car, according to the company.
