The rental car fee collected by Illinois’ Quad-City International Airport will be increased starting Jan. 1, according to a report by The Quad-City Times. The fee will help pay off the airport’s new quick turnaround facility for its rental car companies.
The Rock Island County Metropolitan Airport Authority approved increasing the customer facility charge (CFC) from $3.30 per day to $3.85, according to the report. The fee is charted to customers who rent vehicles from the on-airport rental car companies.
