All ACTIF Members and Associate Members will receive a dues invoice sometime this week. In an ongoing effort to provide better service to all ACTIF members, ACTIF has decided to change its dues billing cycle from an anniversary cycle to an annual one.

What does this mean for you? Well, previously, all members were billed for dues on the anniversary of the date they joined ACTIF. Now, all membership dues will be due on July 1, 2003.

This dues billing cycle allows the ACTIF staff and Board of Directors to better budget and plan for programs, professional development and membership benefits. Additionally, it will eliminate any confusion for members about when their membership expires and help member companies plan their budgets accordingly.

If you have already paid membership dues for 2003/2004, you will still be billed on July 1, 2003. However, your dues will be prorated to reflect the amount you have already paid. For example, if you paid your dues in January 2003 (halfway through the new billing cycle), you will only be billed half of your membership dues on July 1.

ACTIF is confident that the transition to this new billing cycle will be smooth. As always, staff is on hand to answer any questions you may have and to address any concerns. Please feel free to contact Maggie Tatton, associate director, at (888) 200-2795 or maggie@actif.org.
