Risk Theory, LLC, underwriter of open lot and garage package programs for independent agents, has expanded its offerings to include rental insurance programs for OEM’s, car rental franchises, franchised auto dealers, peer-to-peer insurance programs, and subscription insurance programs.
The programs will include niche solutions for automobile rental insurance, ridesharing insurance, peer to peer insurance, and other unique mobility insurance solutions, as well as drone insurance for manufacturers, owners, and rentals.
MADIS is led by Managing Director Sean Harrigan, a pioneer of insurance for the service rental car program industry and a long-time industry veteran, as well as Gary Marshall, MADIS’s COO, also a thirty-year veteran of the auto dealer insurance segment.
Underwriting will be led by VP Bryan Borer, who previously underwrote rental car programs for many years while at Zurich. Special counsel John Kinsler, a former senior legal officer at Zurich and Berkshire Hathaway, and the former head of Zurich’s auto rental insurance unit rounds out the MADIS management team.
