Sixt SE and its U.S. Franchise Unit (Sixt Franchise USA, LLC) announce the opening of a new branch in the Indianapolis market.
The opening of the Indianapolis branch continues the U.S. expansion of Sixt’s franchise network.
“The franchise opening in Indianapolis greatly enhances our local market presence and strengthens the Sixt network in the U.S.,” said Ashley Panara, executive franchise manager. “Customers in Indiana will enjoy renting premium vehicles like a Jaguar XF as well as convertibles and vans from Sixt.”
Tom Wood Group, the franchisee of the new Indianapolis branch, brings over five years of car rental experience, along with an extensive amount of experience in the dealership business.
Tom Wood Group owns and operates dealerships including Porsche, Audi, Jaguar, Lexus, Volvo, Subaru, Ford, Toyota, Land Rover, Volkswagen, Nissan, and Honda in the Indianapolis market. The new Sixt franchise location will service all of these dealership locations as well as local retail renters.
With its new venture with Sixt, Tom Wood Group will start with a wide range of vehicles from hybrid cars to pickup trucks.
"We believe that incorporating Sixt’s premium car rental model into our collection will be beneficial to our future growth,” said Jeff Wood, president of Tom Wood Group. “We anticipate expansion here in Central Indiana and believe converting our existing car rental business to Sixt will enhance our operations.”
