Sixt SE and its U.S. Franchise Unit (Sixt Franchise USA LLC) have signed a franchise agreement with Kulp Car Rentals. Under this agreement, Kulp Car Rentals will open a new Sixt franchise to service Philadelphia International Airport — with plans to open additional franchise locations in Philadelphia.

"We are thrilled to have Kulp Car Rentals join the Sixt franchise system,” said Craig Olson, Sixt’s executive vice president of North America franchise development. “Kulp's plan to expand into the Philadelphia market will accelerate Sixt's growth in the region as we continue to build momentum throughout the U.S. Kulp is a family-run business like Sixt that has been providing fantastic service throughout their existing network, and we know they will bring the same commitment to the Philadelphia market."

"We are looking forward to expanding into the airport car rental market with Sixt,” said Mike Kulp, president and chief financial officer of Kulp Car Rentals. “We are confident that Sixt's premium strategy, global customer base and proven franchise system will help us build a strong business in Philadelphia. Expanding our business beyond the replacement rental market is a goal of ours, and we feel a Sixt franchise is the best possible choice to facilitate our expansion."

The Sixt franchise system has more than 80 franchisees operating from nearly 1,100 worldwide locations, says the company. In the U.S., Sixt franchisees are already operating locations in nine states, including Massachusetts, California, Florida, Texas and Nevada.
