Sixt Rent A Car Launches Operations At Florida Airports
In addition to announcing the start-up of an Orlando Airport location, Sixt will also open a branch at Palm Beach International.
Continuing its worldwide expansion that the Munich-based auto rental company announced in December, Sixt Rent A Car said that it has started fully-owned operations in cities in the state of Florida, including Orlando International Airport (MCO), according to a Jan. 17 press release.
Sixt customers can rent one-way rentals between Miami International Airport (MIA), Ft. Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and MCO. All branches are open 24/7, have shuttle services and offer the same features and services as any Sixt location.
In addition, later this month, Sixt will be opening a branch at Palm Beach International Airport (PBI). The new location is already bookable on and offline.
The Sixt fleet in Florida includes latest model vehicles from Chevrolet, Ford, Infinity, Mustang, Nissan, Toyota, Volkswagen, Mini Cooper, Mercedes-Benz and BMW.
As a partner of all major international airline frequent flyer, hotel loyalty and rewards programs, Sixt credits miles/points for car rentals and its chauffeur services. Participating programs include United Mileage Plus, US Airways Dividend Miles, Delta SkyMiles, Lufthansa Miles & More, Air France Flying Blue, SMILES, Multiplus, Hilton HHonors, Starwood Starpoints and others.
