SURE, a personal insurance distribution platform, has launched an app-based car rental insurance product for U.S. customers. The new car insurance option has connections to all car rental companies and costs $10 or less, and can be purchased in less than a minute, according to the company.

SURE’s services will cover up to serious physical damage to rentals, additional drivers, flat tires and property theft. The new option is being underwritten by global casualty insurance company, Chubb.
