Third Party Offers Consumers Rental Coverage
Insurance company is now offering coverages in Europe at discounted rates before renters get to the counter.
London-based insurance company iCarhireinsurance.com now offers car insurance to consumers before they hit the rental counters.
iCarhireinsurance.com said that it’s insurance is less expensive and offers more comprehensive coverage, including damage to all parts of the car, than insurance sold at car rental desks. The company said its insurance policies can be used with all car rental agreements worldwide.
Consumers can purchase policies online at iCarhireinsurance.com. Customers can select whether they want excess coverage for Europe or worldwide, or full comprehensive cover for the United States, Canada or worldwide. Then they select either daily or annual cover.
The policies for the U.S. and Canada include coverage for road rage, carjacking, travel expenses, hotel expenses, drop-off charges, and 60-days continuous cover for any one rental agreement at no additional charge.
iCarhireinsurance.com also offers a selection of add-ons that provide extra protection, including personal accident, personal effects cover, vehicle rental cancellation insurance, additional policyholder and vehicle key replacement.
