TULSA, Okla. -- Thrifty Car Rental has opened its second location in Manhattan, just two blocks from Central Park and numerous Fifth Avenue museums and hotels.
The new store's address is 148 West 83rd Street, on the Upper West Side between Columbus and Amsterdam avenues. In March, Thrifty opened a store on the Upper East Side.
"Whether it's native New Yorkers looking to get out of the city on vacation or tourists visiting the city, the addition of the Upper West Side location gives our value-seeking customers additional flexibility when renting from us," said Jay Foley, Dollar Thrifty's executive vice president for corporate operations.
