TULSA, Okla. -- Thrifty Car Rental announced it's extending its popular sweepstakes and giving away three more Segway Human Transporters and 84 more weeks of free car rentals.

The original sweepstakes, which ran through May 31, offered consumers the opportunity to win one of the "self-balancing" devices, or one of many free weeklong car rentals from Thrifty. One Segway HT will be given away each month. The new sweepstakes will run through August 31.

Customers who visit www.thrifty.com through August 31 can enter the sweepstakes for a chance to win one of 84 free weeklong rentals in the U.S. (up to a minivan). Winners will be randomly drawn daily.

No purchase is necessary to enter. One winner will be selected at random each through August 31 from all eligible entries received by 5 p.m. (CDT) that day. Each daily winner will receive one free week of car rental in the U.S., up to a minivan. All taxes, fuel, insurance and other incidental charges are the winner's responsibility.

The sweepstakes is open to U.S. residents 21 years or older, with a valid U.S. driver's license. Only one entry per person and per e-mail address will be accepted. Non-winning entries each day remain eligible for future drawings. Daily winners are also eligible for one of the three grand prize drawings. Complete rules are available online at www.thrifty.com.
