Loss prevention company PurCo Fleet Services announced a strategic alliance with fleet technology developer Bynx in the launch of PurInspect, a digitized inspection app that reduces car rental damage disputes and ensures transparency throughout the claims process.
PurInspect can be used on any device — tablet, iPad, smartphone (iOS and Android) — and provides a fully digitized vehicle inspection solution that engages with all stakeholders in the claims process and keeps everything legal and compliant. Being digitized means the inspection process is less prone to human error when capturing data. It provides a detailed record, with images (or video), of all vehicle damage — from a single stone chip on a windshield to a total vehicle write-off.
“We are always looking to improve the service we offer, and by partnering with Bynx we have now developed an App that adds real value for our customers," said David Purinton, CEO and founder of PurCo in a statement. "We’re expecting the demand for PurInspect to be sizeable as there’s nothing else like it in the market, which is why we’ve committed to over 1 million inspections in anticipation of high demand.”
The strategic partnership also means that U.K.-based Bynx is expanding its presence in the Americas, which it considers an important market for its fleet and mobility management platform of the same name.
“PurCo is a fantastic partner to have as we enter these new markets," added Gary Jefferies, sales and marketing director at Bynx. "They have exceptional industry knowledge, a strong reputation, and a customer-first ethic. The USA represents massive potential for Bynx, especially now we have found the right partner in PurCo.”
PurInspect will be used throughout PurCo’s market in The Americas and elsewhere.
