Loss prevention company PurCo Fleet Services announced a strategic alliance with fleet technology developer Bynx in the launch of PurInspect, a digitized inspection app that reduces car rental damage disputes and ensures transparency throughout the claims process. 

PurInspect can be used on any device — tablet, iPad, smartphone (iOS and Android) — and provides a fully digitized vehicle inspection solution that engages with all stakeholders in the claims process and keeps everything legal and compliant. Being digitized means the inspection process is less prone to human error when capturing data. It provides a detailed record, with images (or video), of all vehicle damage — from a single stone chip on a windshield to a total vehicle write-off.

The strategic partnership also means that U.K.-based Bynx is expanding its presence in the Americas, which it considers an important market for its fleet and mobility management platform of the same name.
