Zubie recently partnered with PurCo to enhance the technology behind its PurInspect platform that will improve damage claim management and lower risks for the rental car industry.
The integration enables PurInspect to pull in key data from Zubie Sense, powered by Bosch, including real time location, mileage, impact alerts, and smoke or vape detection signals. This data is displayed directly within the PurInspect platform, giving rental return agents actionable insights before a vehicle is returned.
By combining PurCo’s expertise in damage processing with Zubie’s advanced telematics, the partnership tackles a key industry challenge: identifying and validating potential damage events while vehicles are still on rent.
With clearer insight into vehicle activity and condition, rental operators can flag incidents earlier, streamline inspection workflows, and reduce missed damage claims.
“This partnership is about delivering real time intelligence where it matters most,” said Chad Caswell, senior VP of product at Zubie / TSD Mobility, in a May 12 news release. “By integrating Zubie Sense data into PurInspect, we are enabling rental operators to move from reactive inspections to improve accuracy and efficiency and ultimately protecting revenue.”
For PurCo, the partnership adds a new layer of real-time telematics intelligence to the PurInspect platform further strengthening its position in a competitive market and reinforcing its leadership in rental risk management solutions.
The integration is expected to help rental operators reduce disputes, recover more damage-related costs, and create a more transparent and data-driven experience for customers.
David Purinton, founder and CEO of PurCo, said, “This integration represents a meaningful step forward in helping our customers identify and manage damage events more effectively.”
This collaboration is a unique advancement in the rental industry, combining telematics driven event detection with established damage management workflows in a single integrated experience.
Both companies showcased their partnership and its capabilities at the International Car Rental Show near Dallas, May 13-15.
