Hyundai Motor America is recalling 11,176 2011 model-year Hyundai Tucson SUVs because a defective transmission fluid cooler hose might lead to a transmission fluid leak that results in stalling, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported.

The SUVs involved were manufactured from July 22 to Oct. 31 in 2010.

Hyundai dealers will replace the transmission fluid cooler hose, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin March 25, NHTSA said.

Vehicle owners can reach Hyundai customer service at (800) 633-5151. Hyundai’s number for this recall is 139.
