TSD, a provider of fleet management software for rental companies, dealerships, and automotive manufacturers, is partnering with Acuant, a provider of intelligent data capture and authentication solutions.
Through this partnership, Acuant’s service automates data intake, which in turn cuts down the amount of time employees spend on each transaction, according to the company.
Acuant’s idScan Go solution gathers data from scanned IDs on any mobile device and then auto-populates the information into company forms digitally onto a company’s customer management system. Acuant verifies licenses from all 50 states, passports and government-issued IDs for authenticity.
TSD chose Acuant’s service to help optimize workflow at car rental companies, according to the company. Once the counter agent scans a license, idScan Go will auto-populate the information into the TSD agreement.
"We are confident that our partnership with Acuant will help car rental companies improve CSI through faster, more convenient, and more efficient service," said Shawn Concannon, TSD’s senior vice president of business development and operations. "With the integration between TSD and Acuant, car rental companies are able to eliminate manual data collection and improve speed and customer service through automation.”
"The automotive industry is becoming increasingly digital in an effort to provide faster, more pleasing customer service," said Yossi Zekri, CEO of Acuant. "Our partnership with TSD will streamline the vehicle rental process and provides a cost efficient, revenue-enhancing solution."
