Zipcar announced its launch in Baton Rouge through a partnership with the City-Parish.
Four Zipcars will be available for reservation by the hour or by the day. The vehicles are parked in designated spots downtown for pick up and drop off. Each reservation includes gas, insurance, and 180 miles of driving per day.
In Louisiana, Zipcar first launched at Louisiana State University earlier this year. The four new Zipcars join four vehicles at LSU and three at the New Orleans International Airport for a total of 11 Zipcars available throughout Louisiana, according to the company.
