Sixt AG, Germany's largest car rental company and one of the leading vendor-neutral and non-bank full-service leasing providers, has won the renowned "Business Traveller Award 2006" in the category of "Best Car Rental Company in Europe". According to this ranking, Sixt clearly surpassed the competition in fulfilling the central quality and performance criteria for car rental in Europe, among them a top price/performance ratio, an easy and straight-forward rental process, high vehicle quality and the solid know-how of the employees. The awards ceremony was held this morning within the context of a gala event in Frankfurt.

The "Business Traveller Award" is conferred yearly by the readers of the trade publication "Business Traveller". The award is considered to be a true public choice prize, as the publisher and editors of the trade publication exercise no influence at all on the readers' vote. Over 700 readers took part in voting for the "Business Traveller Award 2006". Last year the readers selected Sixt as being the best car rental company in Germany.

"We are very pleased by this award" exclaimed Hans-Norbert Topp, head of sales at Sixt AG. "This prize is the best proof that not only sheer size alone, but rather excellent quality of service and a dedicated orientation to the customer are decisive in Europe. Furthermore, we are of course very pleased that, along with the numerous customers worldwide who trust in our brand, now the readers of Business Traveller have honoured the international performance of Sixt. We will continue to do everything possible to comprehensively fulfil the needs of customers around the world with innovative products, excellent service and low prices."
