ABC Car Rental Adds Online Booking Tool, Joins Kayak
The rental car company updated its website to include a booking system from Car Rentals Express and also joined the travel site Kayak.
ABC Car Rental, based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., added an online booking system to its website and teamed up with the travel website Kayak on Oct. 3 to make it easier for customers to search and reserve its vehicles, the company reported.
Powered by Car Rentals Express (CRX), the booking system allows customers to enter their itinerary information including car rental pickup and drop-off dates and the driver’s age in order to view available rental vehicles. The system also provides descriptions, rental rates and prices for each vehicle. Customers can change the search items at any point without having to start over.
The booking system requires the renter’s name, email address, phone number and the mode of payment to finalize the rental.
