Action Car Rental Joins Car Rental Express Network
Action Car Rental is now part of the Car Rental Express network of preferred rental partners allowing the company to refer customers to other independent agencies that are outside Action's geographic area.
New York-based Action Car Rental joined the Car Rental Express network of preferred rental partners with the launch of a new online car rental reservation system, unveiled on March 25.
With the Cross Agency Traffic rental system, Action can now rent a vehicle outside the immediate geographic area by referring them to another Car Rental Express rental partner, while maintaining internal reservation management and billing. Using the booking tool on Action Car Rental, customers will be able to search for rates and vehicles anywhere in the country.
“What this software is doing is enabling us to build a national network of reliable, affordable independent car rental partners,” said Harry Hollander, president of Action Car Rental. “Over time, our network of independent agencies will be on par with other franchise systems and major brand networks.”
Additionally, the system is designed to assist Car Rental Express member agencies with their customer service offerings and fleet management requirements.
Action Car Rental also said it plans to roll out more updates to the rental system later this summer as additional improvements are made to the Car Rental Express software.
