"Alamo Rent A Car's new airport facility provides quick and convenient rental car services to our customers in Tampa," said John Eckermann, Tampa vice president and general manager for Enterprise Holdings. "One of our goals is to make travel simpler for U.S. and international travelers, and customer feedback tells us the on-site airport facilities are extremely easy to locate and navigate."

Alamo is the largest car rental provider to international travelers visiting North America.  The company's services are offered throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Latin America and Asia.

National Car Rental's new airport branch is also inside the main terminal area of the Tampa airport.

"Our new location in the Tampa airport will include updated signage with clear directions, making renting a car from National faster and easier for our most time-strapped customer - the business traveler," Eckermann said.

He noted that the physical upgrades are part of an overall effort to reflect the National Car Rental brand's ascent as a premier brand for business travel. Facility enhancements at National's Tampa airport location include new booths installed in the pick-up and return area; improved signage to easily locate National facilities and parking; an enlarged counter space; and a new parking area.

For better service to National's Emerald Club members, the on-site Tampa National branch also offers a new fully operational and secure "Emerald Aisle" program in both airport terminals. The Emerald Aisle is an exclusive section of the lot where members can select any vehicle as long as they reserve a mid-sized car.

"It's important for us to continue to invest in our locations in order to meet the needs of our customers," said Eckermann, "The move in Tampa to an on-site airport location will make it easier and faster for our loyal customers."
