Operating since 2000, ASAP Rent has officially introduced its cloud-based car rental software designed for the international rental industry that is operating in 20 countries, including the U.S., according to a company announcement.
ASAP Rent Software’s cloud technology allows car rental managers to focus on business operations instead of IT issues including back-up, security protection and other risks. As well, the software includes fleet management tools and rental agreement management, as well as an automated rate-optimization process and gives users the ability to create graphs and tables to present data.
ASAP Rent also offers ASAP Rez, an online car rental reservations portal.

ASAP Rent already works with auto dealerships in the U.S. that use it for dealership rentals and loaner programs, the company said.
Currently, hundreds of franchise and licensee locations from brands such as Hertz, Avis, Budget, Discount, Thrifty, Sixt, Europcar, as well as other independent car rental companies, use ASAP Rent technology, according to the company.
ASAP said that it owns its source code and has all its operations locally in Montreal, Canada.
According to ASAP Rent, the company's founder Michel King is a former employee from Deloitte, where he worked for seven years and developed skills in enterprise resource planning (ERP) software management.
