ASAP Rent, a software provider for the rental car industry, has been honored as a “Solution Provider of the Year” Finalist at Computer Dealer News’ Channel Elite Awards.
Computer Dealer News (CDN), a Canadian IT channel publication and website, presented the awards. ASAP Rent was recognized for its innovation, leadership and commitment to creating business value for customers.
“It’s a great honor to be acknowledged by IT world Canada as an innovator and leader in the IT solution space,” said Michel King, founder of ASAP Rent. “The competitive nature of the car rental industry makes it challenging for organizations in this domain to attract and retain customers. Technology therefore plays a crucial role in enabling them to maintain their competitive edge through superior customer service, optimized fleet cost, improved operational efficiency and rapid growth in newer geographies and segments.”
ASAP Rent is in the process of launching its new cloud-based software version in HTML 5, including a complete mobile suite of responsive applications, according to the company.
To speed up its development and release cycle, ASAP Rent is signing a long-term partnership agreement with the software development engineers that service the International Airlines Transport Association (IATA) located in Montreal. Tis partnership gives ASAP Rent access to a team of more than 55 developers, according to the company.
