ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.-- Avalon Global Group Inc., the parent company of Payless Car Rental System Inc., has appointed travel industry veteran Michael J. Harley the company's new president and chief operating officer (COO).
Harley has served as COO of Payless since 1999, and was recently appointed the dual role of president and COO. Harley is the catalyst behind Payless Car Rental System's strategy to double the number of its franchises by 2002 and quadruple revenue.
Payless Car Rental is a privately held corporation headquartered in St. Petersburg, Fla., with over 135 worldwide franchise locations.
