Avis Budget Group landed itself on Forbes' annual List of Canada's Best Employers for 2018.
Compiled in collaboration with online research firm Statista, the 2018 ranking highlights 300 companies with operations in Canada, across 25 industries. Avis Budget Group was ranked first in the Travel and Leisure sector.
"We are committed to delivering an unrivalled customer experience today and in the future," Bill Boxberger, vice president and general manager, Canada, said in a press release. "In order to do so, we must recruit, train and retain a workforce of talented people who passionately share our vision and are committed to delivering on it. We're thrilled that our employees have rated Avis Budget Group a great place to work, and are proud to be among Canada's best."
The annual Forbes survey compiled responses from 8,000 Canadians who work for large companies and institutions — those with 500 or more employees. Each individual was asked, on a scale of zero through 10, how likely they were to recommend their employer to someone else.
