Avis Budget Group Partners With La Quinta Inns & Suites
Avis Rent A Car and Budget Rent A Car are added to La Quinta Returns, the hotel chain's customer loyalty program.
Avis Budget Group Inc. has joined with La Quinta Inns & Suites to provide more than a million La Quinta Returns members with special savings on Avis and Budget rentals and the ability to earn points when renting from Avis and Budget. The new agreement makes Avis Budget Group the only partner to offer La Quinta Returns members the opportunity to earn points for car rentals.
Avis Rent A Car and Budget Rent A Car will showcase products, services as well as money-saving and bonus rewards offers on La Quinta Inns & Suites' Web site, www.LQ.com, and through e-mail and direct-marketing to La Quinta Returns members. Members can save up to 25 percent on Avis rentals and up to 20 percent on Budget rentals while earning La Quinta Returns points.
To celebrate the partnership, La Quinta Returns members who rent with Avis or Budget through March 31, 2011 can also earn bonus rewards. For more information, visit www.LQ.com.
"Our dual-brand approach to travel partnerships drives incremental bookings for Avis and Budget while adding value to La Quinta's loyalty program," said Stephen Wright, vice president of key accounts, travel and partnerships for Avis Budget Group. "La Quinta Returns members will benefit from earning points on Avis and Budget rentals while enjoying Avis' world-renowned 'We try harder' level of service and the great value of Budget."
"Avis Budget Group clearly shares our commitment to providing quality service and customer satisfaction, making them an ideal partner to our La Quinta Returns program," said Julie Cary, chief marketing officer for La Quinta Inns & Suites. "Our members will enjoy having this value-added benefit."
