"Avis has done very well to successfully back up last year's win with the top spot in our Car Hire ratings for 2013," said Rebecca Logan, spokesperson for Canstar Blue. "We congratulate Avis for earning Canstar Blue's Most Satisfied Customers Award."

Avis is the leading car rental company in Australia, operating at more than 200 conveniently located rental facilities, including at all major airports.

"Canstar Blue's ratings support our strong customer service focus," said George Proos, managing director of Avis Australia. "We're honored to receive the Canstar Blue Customer Satisfaction Award and look forward to continuing to provide customers in Australia with an excellent rental experience."

The Canstar Blue independent study surveyed 2,500 Australians on customer satisfaction in the car rental category. The results are based on customers who rented a vehicle in Australia in the last 12 months.
