Avis has entered into a new partnership with Silver Airways, a U.S.-owned and operated airline. Under the agreement, Avis Car Rental and Budget Car Rental will be designated as Silver Airways' preferred car rental providers, says Avis.

In addition, Silver Airways travelers will also receive car rental savings when they rent Avis or Budget brand vehicles. Silver Airways customers will be able to schedule Avis and Budget car rental reservations directly on the Silver Airways website or via phone — as part of the call transfer program between the two companies.

“Providing travelers with convenient ways to make car rental reservations is one way we ‘put the customer first,’” said Beth Kinerk, senior vice president of sales for Avis Budget Group. “We're excited to team up with Silver Airways and provide their passengers with two convenient ways to rent with Avis or Budget. We look forward to serving their rental car needs and generating incremental rental volume.”
