PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- Avis Rent A Car System Inc. announced it is sponsoring Martial Arts Weekend, set for Sept. 21-22 at Six Flags Great Adventure Theme Park in Jackson, N.J.
Participating Avis rental locations in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania will be offering customers discount coupons good for $18 off regular priced admission tickets to Six Flags Great Adventure now through November 2, 2002.
Highlights of the two-day event include a live concert, martial arts demonstrations and theatrical presentations.
Avis will be hosting an in-park child passenger safety seat station where visitors can receive information from certified child safety experts. Avis vehicles will be positioned around the park to showcase LATCH, the new federal standard for child safety. Other Avis highlights of the weekend will include a Special Olympics soccer ball drive (a limited edition co-branded Avis and Special Olympics soccer ball will be given to all donors) and other Avis discounts.
